Modelmaking
Aardman style puppet (2023)
A stop motion puppet designed with the brief that it should fit easily into an episode of  “Shaun the sheep”.
1:1 Silent running nuclear detonator replica (2023)
A NFTS Modelmaking assignment to build a replica hand prop from TV or film with at least one moving element.
My replica had a moving flap and a moving switch that illuminated when turned.

Broken Polar bear Tupilaq – Dir Saunak Ranade (2023) - Created for Naja, NFTS’ VFX graduate showcase film.
A Tupilaq is a sculpture from Greenlandic Inuit religion, typically created by an Angakkuq (shaman) using animal parts, such as bone, ivory, skin or hair.
This one however was created using Crystacal.

Dragfox terrace house (2023) - For NFTS grad animation “Dragfox”, Dir Lisa Ott, Des Lia Chiarin
I worked as part of a small team to help construct this miniature row of terrace houses for the NFTS grad animation Dragfox. In addition to shared work such as carpentry, painting, lasercutting, set dressing and assembly, I also independently built and finished the base, the railings and the birdbath. The base was a particularly interesting challenge as I had to carve each of the paving slabs and individually paint them slightly different shades of grey to create a realistic looking pavement.

1:6 Stokes Croft Door (2022)
Created for a NFTS Modelmaking assignment that asked for a 1:6 scale model of a real door. Before construction I visited the door and took measurements, photos and a detailed Photogrammetry scan so I would have as much reference as possible .

Assorted NFTS items (2022 - 2023) - Including work from the following National Film and Television school animation grad films...

Mission Impossible 1:5 set recreation (2022)
As part of our studies for the NFTS “Modelmaking for Animation” course, my class (12 students) were challenged to reconstruct, in 1:5 scale, the vault from the first mission impossible film.
We were not given plans and worked out the dimensions almost entirely using by using scenes from the film.
During the project I had the opportunity to work in a myriad of different disciplines, including carpentry, electronics, working with a variety of large tools and painting.
